Our production facility has the capacity to manufacture up to 60 kilometres of timber profiles per day.
That scale allows us to support customers requiring significant volumes of consistently machined product, including merchants, fabricators and manufacturers with ongoing or repeat requirements.
Production capability isn’t simply about how much timber can move through a machine, the profile still needs to be right and that’s where our process really shines.
Precision down to
±0.2 mm
Our profiles are precision machined to a tolerance of ±0.2 mm, helping deliver consistency across individual lengths and larger production runs.
For customers using profiles as part of another manufacturing or installation process, that repeatability is particularly important. A consistent profile can make the next stage easier, whether the timber is being installed on site, incorporated into joinery or used within another manufactured product.
Standard profiles and repeat production
Our established range covers commonly used profiles including architraves and skirtings, bolection moulds, ceiling battens, handrails, dowels, stair stringers, door jambs, tongue and groove, scotia moulds and dressed timber.
For customers ordering regularly, established profiles provide a straightforward pathway for repeat production. Once the required timber, dimensions and profile have been confirmed, we can manufacture the same detail again when it is needed.
Custom profiles are part of the picture
Large-scale production doesn’t mean everything we make is standard. The Timber Profile Co. has an extensive library of existing profile knives, allowing us to produce a wide variety of shapes and details. If you’re trying to reproduce an existing moulding or create something for a particular design, we may already have a knife that is suitable or close to what you need. Where the required profile isn’t available, a new knife can be manufactured to create the specified shape.
There is no minimum production run for custom profiles, although smaller quantities can carry additional knife and machine setup costs. Our team can talk you through the options and, where appropriate, check whether an existing knife could achieve the required result.

A one-off custom profile and a high-volume repeat order have very different production requirements, but both depend on accurate machining and a clear understanding of the required result.
