What is the difference between finger-jointed and clear pine?

Finger-jointed pine is made by joining shorter, defect-free pieces of timber to create long, consistent lengths. Clear pine is selected for its natural appearance with minimal knots or visible defects. The right option depends on the finish, application and look you want to achieve.

What timber options are available?

NZ pine is at the heart of our range, with other timber species available depending on supply. These can include Western Red Cedar, American White Oak, American White Ash, Kwila, Accoya® and other native and exotic timbers. Talk to our team about current availability and the best option for your project.

Can you match an existing timber profile?

Yes. Send us a sample or specification drawing and we can accurately replicate a wide range of existing profiles. We manufacture our own knives onsite, giving us the flexibility to reproduce even detailed mouldings.

Can you manufacture a completely custom profile?

Yes. Our in-house tooling capability means we can manufacture profiles outside our standard range. Send us a drawing or talk to our team about what you’re trying to achieve and we’ll discuss what’s possible.
